Our Apartment Building Pool

What does a missionary do with a pool outside their apartment? Look at it. this apartment building is new, but right next door is a shack where they sell products and a girls sits and sews all day long. One can go down this street and find all kinds of little buildings (shacks) selling everything from food to car parts.

Top of the World

The Phnom Penh World anyway. This is on the roof of our 6 story apartment building. Most of the activities are done in the late afternoon because it gets dark around 6:30 p.m and there are not many street lights. We are going to bed around 9:30 or 10 each evening. Rather interesting schedule around here.

At the Orphanage

I had my palm out and the children and the adults were very interested in it. It is so very hard to tell the age of these people. They are all so very young looking, or is it I am just so old?

Visit to the orphanage

I, Sister Morgan, visited a private orphange run by the RS President of 7th Branch. All the children ran and greeted me. They all were so very dear. This is a picture of the boys doing a dance that the New Zealand Missionary Couple taught them. There are 25 children here. I am still trying to see where I can help these children. I will let you know if you can do something as well.

Traffic

This is a small sampling of the traffic we see every day, everywhere. The motos weave in and out of traffic but the bigger you are the more rights you have, pedestrians have no rights and they take their lives in their hands if they try to cross the street.

Kitchen and fruits from shopping

We went shopping and we got a nice selection of fruits. We had the missionaries over to our apartment and they had dinner with us. We cut up a lot of this fruit but they were more hungry for noodles and chicken. Elder Morgan and I enjoyed the fruit.
